Fun with Santa and a 7 gypsies project...

Happy Friday Everyone! So it's getting to be a lot like Christmas in my neck of the woods and I'm really excited. My LSS is having an open house this weekend so I've been busy putting together some fun projects for them... One of the projects that I'm sharing is an altered project that I put together using the newest Jillibean Soup paper and a 7 gypsies library drawer. I had a ton of fun putting it together and loved how it turned out. I would like to note that when I picked up the project from the Scrapbook Page, I neglected to get any ribbon, so I added that on to the painted blocks to make them look like presents under the tree... I just didn't have my camera with me (shocking right :)) so I didn't take any updated pictures... Anyways, here is a closer look...
I'm pretty proud of that tree - I completely free handed the whole project :)... Then, with the left overs, I used my scraps to put together this cute little card... Those elements are by BG...
As for the fun stuff with Santa, I know it seems pretty early by the Bass Pro Shop near our house has this really cool promotion going where you can get your picture taken with Santa for free and you can make ornaments and get silly bands. That's right folks, I said FREE PICTURE :). They actually give you the picture in house and if you choose to order a package, you can do that online. Let me just tell you, they did an amazing job and I would love to share that picture with you now, but you'll have to wait for that - they did such an amazing job, that I'm adding it to my Christmas Card this year, so you'll have to wait to see that... Instead, I'm sharing some other fun pics from our adventures...

The cool thing about this promotion is that you can go back and make different ornaments later and still get your picture taken again for free :)... Oh and don't let me forget to say that, PJ loves seeing the big fish at this location, so here's a cute shot of her having fun with daddy! :)
As always, thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned, because I'll be sharing some of my progress on my December Daily album along with a new scrapping tool that I picked up :)... Have a great Friday Everyone!
