Cousins

*First of all - sorry for the mess - I'm taking the "Bling your Blog" class and so I'm messing around a bit with my settings... thanks for your patience...*

Growing up, our family was always pretty tight knit. We didn't really have a lot of close extended family and I really didn't get to know any of my cousins until later in life. My only sibling and I are approximately seven years apart, so the thought of having our kids close together in age was kind of a long shot and hopes of having close kids in age wasn't looking good. As it turns out, my little PJ and her Zachary have grown to be pretty good buds. Z has always made a great effort to hang out and play with PJ at all of our family get togethers and I think that's pretty special.

In this LO I again returned to my stash of Crate Paper. I also used October Afternoon letters and painted them with some various colors of American Craft Paint. I also chose to add some accent paint under the main picture of them playing. Here's a look at those pics:

Wonderful layout! I love that you've documented their special relationship. My sister's son is 8 years older than my son, and then my daughter came along 7 years later so there are wide gaps in my family as well.
