Paper Crafting makes me Happy!

I hope that everyone had a Happy Halloween. We had several opportunities for little PJ to dress up in her cheerleading costume, and man, she loved it :). We did did a little bit of trick-or-treating so that was fun. We've been talking about doing the "great pumpkin" - do any of you out there do this? Sounds like a pretty cool idea. For those of you who aren't familiar, you end up having the 'great pumpkin' come visit your house to pick up the candy and in it's place they leave your little one a present... cuts down on having them eat so much junk food :)...

As for creative stuff, I've been pretty busy this weekend on putting stuff together - I've really been in the mood to do some paper crafting - it's my therapy, and man, have I needed it lately. School is picking up for me and there are a lot of other stressors going on in my life right now, so any opportunity I can get to craft, I really try to do it. Luckily, I was also able to fit in writing a 6 page paper for class due tonight, so I'm still able to keep up with all of my class obligations too. Yay me :)...

Today, I'm sharing a couple of little projects that have been sitting on my craft table for a few weeks (okay, months). I printed what seemed like a thousand pictures about a year ago and this weeks projects will include the last of those printed pictures. SO HAPPY to finally get all of these pics scrapped. Luckily, I have a photo printer now so that I can print at home :).

Anyways, I think I'm rambling... I guess I'm just I am just in paper writing mode... better cut to the chase :)... The first project is a two pager using 8.5 x 11 kraft... The second project is a card I put together using my leftover scraps... Here's a closer look at my projects...

I am so loving that turqoise Zing embossing powder!!!!

Great pages and congrats on finishing the paper! The Great Pumpkin sounds like a fabulous idea. There is a dentist here offering to "buy back" (give you cash) for your candy and in turn the candy is being sent to the troops.
