PageGirl Samples, Father's Day Edition, Part II

Hope everyone had a great weekend - we had some crazy storms this weekend and tons of rain - I think they've estimated around 5 inches over the weekend - YIKES! As for scrappy stuff, I've been working on a couple of minibooks to kind of switch it up - I'll besharing the pictures of those shortly. For today, I'm sharing the second sample that I made for the Scrapbook Page for Father's Day. I loved putting this one together because I finally was able to put my Tim Holtz Distressing ink to good use. Take a look at the creme colored paper on the LO - love the look and can't wait to try it out on some of my own pages. Carolyn at the Scrapbook Page said that you can also iron the page out after you apply this technique to totally change the color - has anyone done this? I'm really curious about the ironing thing - I don't want to burn any paper or ruin my iron, so if anyone else has done this, I would love to hear about it and how you did it! Here are some pics of the sample...
Today, I'm also sharing some pictures from our mini-vay a couple of weeks ago. These pictures were from the last part of our trip when we went to the zoo. We had such a great time exploring the exhibits - we plan on going back sometime since we weren't able to make it through all of attractions. Lots of fun times...

Thanks for stopping by - Have a great Monday everyone!

What a GREAT layout! I really like this one!

Your photos are awesome, too. Your little one is growing like a weed.
