Happy April!

We have had the most beautiful weather this week and now that it's officially April, I think we are finally out of the woods for the cold icky weather - Yay! To celebrate spring, I used some fun springy papers for this LO - First Teeth.

Some of the supplies I used were: bg paper: K1 Memories, Bazzil Textured Cardstock; glimmer mist spray, and a few different pieces from my K1 Memories Friendship stash...here are a couple of fun close up shots of the details...

I've been using more of the glimmer mist on my LO lately and for this one, my sewing machine ended up coming in pretty handy. After spritzing the cardstock and letting it try in between some big heavy books, it still wanted to curl around the edges. By sewing the zigzag onto the cardstock and attaching it to the flowery paper, I was able to avoid the unwanted curling. So I was wondering - do any of you use the spritz sprays and if so, how do you avoid the unwanted curling on the pages?

Thanks for stopping by - have a great Thursday!

I'm a big believer in the heavy stack of books to take the curl out. lol

Super cute layout. I, too, had issues with curling of paper when using glimmer mists....so I stopped using glimmer mists. Problem solved. Yeah, I know...bad Marlene, bad!

This is adorable! Love the photos of your cutie pie! And all the lovely embellies!

I mist in layers...it does help with the curling situation..

Have a happy April!

cute layout! :) use light layers of mist, I also use my heat tool to dry it. then you can iron or run through the laminator to flatten.
