Book Review: Little Bee

With all of the beautiful weather, I had fallen a little behind on my reading, but having a sick one at home creates a lot of snuggle time and time read - so I think I'm officially caught up now.

My March book selection is Little Bee by Chris Cleave. One of the reasons I was drawn to this book was because, first, it was on the best sellers shelf, but also because the inside flap was kind of a trickful tease to entice you to read the book. Typically, when you read the tease, you find out the general plot of the book. However, with Little Bee, you'll find that the author chooses to not tell you anything because doing so would give away too much of the book. So to keep with the spirit of the author, I am just simply going to say it's a story about two women whose lives collide in the most unexpected way and that you have to read the book to know more :).

Overall, I would definitley recommend the book to anyone who is interested in a twisting and turning plot that will take you to the most unexpected places and times. The scary thing about this book is that these things can still happen in current day and the book is loosely written with some of these places in mind. Well, I don't want to give any more away, so if you're in for a good read, check it out! Have a great Friday Everyone!

Thanks for the recommendation! I've been reading a lot of celeb bios and 50s teen novels lately. :D

I started reading this book a few weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to pick it back up. I think it's in my car right now. it's probably telling that i was immediately drawn to the cover and further intrigued by the tease as well. :)
